Martial Poetics
TBD over Zoom with Sia Luna
Martial Poetics is a virtual writing and embodiment workshop for times of freeze, fear, and world panic. Drawing from poetry and martial arts–informed practice, this space invites participants to work with breath, rhythm, stance, boundary, and attention as ways back into the body when the world feels overwhelming. Rooted in my training in Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai, and Tessenjutsu, the workshop offers simple embodied tools that become writing portals: ways of entering language through presence, instinct, and movement. Together, we will write from the body not as ornament, but as instrument. No martial arts experience is needed. The workshop is beginner-friendly, and disability-informed adaptations will be offered for varied bodies, mobility levels, and access needs.
Donation Based. $20 suggested if funds are available. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

There has been a lot of interest in this workshop and I want to accomodate as much as possible. I am taking votes on days and times that work best at the above link. <3
